Finally, one of my favourite songs has already a music video! After three years of waiting, they finally released it and I must tell that it's worth the wait. This song is called "Sad Song" by the We The Kings. I found the lyric video of the song on youtube as a recommendation and I definitely love it. Check out official music video below:
As I've mentioned on my previous song feedback, most of the songs these days do not have any meaning, usually contain sexual contents just for the purpose of making money and it's not really what I call real music (in my opinion at least). Anyways, this song or any songs of We The Kings has really caught me. It's really soulful and I honestly can't find the right words to describe it. This song actually reminds me of the four movies that I like:
1. A Walk to Remember (2002)
This movie is about Landon Carter (Shane West), who gets into trouble and had to do a community service in which he needs the help of Jamie Sullivan (Mandy Moore). They are schoolmates and Landon is one of the famous students while Jamie is the smart and shy girl. Jamie is the reverend's daughter, who has high ambitions unlike Landon. At first, Landon's group of friends, including him, always make fun of her. As Landon get to know Jamie, he falls inlove with her (of course, why not). I do not want to spoil it that much but there is this heart-breaking secret that put their relationship into test and Landon did not give up until the end. It is just simply one of the best. Now, how it is related to the song I posted above? You'll know once you watched this one or just keep reading and find some clues from the rest of the movies I put here ;)

2. My Girl (1991)
Next one, I found this movie because I was a fan of Macaulay Culkin (the 'Home Alone' kid). Anyways, this is mainly about Vada Stultenfuss (Anna Chlumsky) and her struggles as she becomes a teenager. She grew up with her dad since her mother died as she was giving birth to her. She's always try to get the attention of his dad and she always hangs out with her bestfriend, Thomas J. Sennett (Macaulay Culkin). There are so many things going on about her but I am going to focus on her friendship with her bestfriend. Despite of everything she's been going through, Thomas is always there to support her. The following quote summarizes the plot of the story:
"When your Dad's an undertaker, your Mom's in heaven, and your Grandma's got a screw loose...it's good to have a friend who understands you. Even if he is a boy."
This movie give me all the feels especially on what happened at the end. I even memorized the poem that Vada wrote because it's just too beautiful to forget.Click here to check it out and I am pretty sure you won't regret it.

3. Bridge to Terabithia (2007)
This one is a film based on Katherine Paterson's novel. Of course, this one has some similarities with the above films and it is also worth watching. A struggling young man, Jesse "Jesse" Aarons (Jush Hutcherson), became friends with a new student Leslie Burke (Anna Sophia Robb), who is also his new neighbour. Jesse was being bullied by some students in his school and Leslie managed to beat the people who are bullying Jesse. At first, Jesse is kind of irritated with Leslie but sooner, they became good friends. After school, they always go into woods, where the have to cross a creek using a rope. They have a tree house and they spend most of their time there. Jesse has good drawing skills while Leslie has this wild and good imagination that help Jesse see the fantasy world, Terabithia. Their tree house became their kingdom and this fantasy world become a reflection of their real lives. Anyways, I'm getting into too much details now. I just remembered this movie because of 'My girl' , so I think I should also include it here since it also portray the theme that I am talking about.

4. Up (2009)
Last but not the least, "Up". I mean, come on, who have not yet seen this awesome animated movie? If you're that person, then you better see this one with a box of tissue. It is about Carl Fredricksen (voiced by Edward Asner), who started a journey with a young boy by putting 500 balloons in his house. When he was a kid, he wanted to explore the forbidden Paradise Falls in South America. He accidentally meet Ellie at her clubhouse and they became bestfriends. Along with Ellie, who later became his wife, they made dreams together since they have the same interests. Carl made a promise to Ellie that they would go on a trip together. However, Elli got sick because of old age so it did not happen. Then, the rest of the movie occurs. Sorry, I'm just focusing on those two. So yeah they started off as friends, become lovers and even at the end, their love for each other never dies. This is pretty amazing and most of the people loved it and I can relate to them. This isn't just a typical animated movie. I mean yeah, kids might find the scene of Ellie and Carl boring but I think the parents of those kids won't because I think that they can relate to them and hopefully it serves as inspiration to love their partners until the end.

Friendship, Love, and Death. I already told this to someone. These three things are perfect combination for a movie or any stories. I like movies where one of the main (or important) characters die because I believe that death is not the end of everything, it's just the beginning of a new story and it is up to the other characters how to adapt to that change. This I think is what makes a story great and not too fake. Maybe it is just me lol Oh well, see you on the next blog! Any comments or opinions about these movies or with the song, just comment them below ^-^
